A Picture says a 1,000 words
A picture does say a thousand words. In the past two days, Millions of words must have been spoken! I had a busy week of pictures, pictures and more pictures! On Tuesday I had my head shots taken. That was a very fun experience! Posing with a crown on your head can be tough, but throw in a little creativity and it can be very fun! Yesterday I had a photo shoot that I had won from the pageant. That was soooo fun! We went downtown and had such a blast. It's like waiting for Christmas day, waiting to see the pictures! I can't wait to see how they turned out!

Appearences

Sorry I have not written in a while. I have been very busy! I have had a few appearances in the past week! I attended the Lynchburg women's show and the Children's Miracle Network dinner last Saturday! A very long but fun day. I then got up extremely early Sunday morning to travel home for Spring Break. I love being home, but I admit, it would be fun to be somewhere tropical. This week I have spoken to a group of intermediate students about internet safety and read to some really sweet pre-schoolers about stranger danger. Today, I visited my favorite hometown restaurant Country Table! I had a wonderful meal that involved the best mashed potatoes on the planet! I could live off of those fluffily heavenly potatoes!
I got to catch up with some friends today and enjoyed some much needed Rita's! Be cool, go to Rita's.

Brunette Barbie!
I have a few appearances to make this weekend and I'm so excited for them! I know that this new title as Miss Lynchburg also means a new me! I really wanted to start off on a good foot by getting a killer dress. I searched high and low for a good bargain today, because that is how I roll, and I found the perfect dress! It's a Calvin Klein that I got for a steal! It' s a bright pink dress that fits like a glove. I was between the pink and a royal blue but I asked some girls in the dressing room for their choice, and they all said the pink. When I came home to show my roommate, I told her I feel like a Brunette Barbie! The color and style of the dress remind me so much of the Barbie dresses I used to put on my beloved dolls when I was a little girl! Throw on some nude heels and the beautiful tennis bracelet I got for Christmas and I'm set!
Here is a picture of the dress I got, only try to imagine it in a Barbie pink color and the girl wearing it as a curly haired brunette!

The Beginning
Ok so I am very new at this! My first concern was making this blog look pretty. So I've decided that I am going to blog about this interesting new journey that I'm on. I've just been crowned the new 2010 Miss Lynchburg! I'm very excited! I may not write everyday as I am still a full time college student, but I hope I can write about the exciting new things I will be doing along the way! I will be talking about my platform and informing people on things surrounding it! I'm sure to meet new people and experience new things. I'm ready!
